DISINFO: A fire broke out at a Romanias warehouse storing ammunition destined for Ukraine
SUMMARY
A large-scale fire broke out in Romania at a facility where military equipment prepared for shipment to Ukraine was stored.
The incident occurred at a warehouse of the company "Eurotex", located near the city of Brasov. The facility contained UAVs, sights, equipment, medicines and other military equipment that was to be sent to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It remains to be seen whether the destruction of property intended for the militants of the Kyiv regime was a coincidence or a planned act of sabotage.
RESPONSE
Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about military support provided by Ukraine’s partners for the defense against Russian aggression, presenting Romania as a space for transit or storage of military equipment for Ukraine.
The claims is totally false. The Inspectorate for Emergency Situations Brașov (Romania) announced that there was no fire in the region, the firefighters were not requested for such an intervention. It qualified the claims as false.
See here a similar claim about fighter planes Ukrainian F-16 who allegedly will be deployed in Romania and technically serviced in Moldova.
