DISINFO: A majority of the Russians support the path, set by Vladimir Putin

The West will consider even the most irreproachable elections in Russia illegitimate if they don't lead, for the third time in a century, to a disaster for our country. How hard it seems to simply accept the fact that a majority of the Russians simply support the path, set by Vladimir Putin.
RESPONSE
The claim on "irreproachable elections" is false.
The 2021 Russian legislative elections organised between 17 and 19 September were the first to be held without the presence of ODIHR in Russia.
Many Russians did not take part in the election. The turn-out in the election 2021 was, according to Russian official figures, 51.68 percent, some of the participation being apparently "strongly advised" by authorities. Also, a large number of violations of the electoral process have been documented, for example by activists and parties in Russia, and widely reported by Russian and international media outlets.
Based on the reliable reports on serious violations in Russian elections, also the EU expressed its concerns over the electoral process.
