DISINFO: A risky Pfizer vaccine was imposed on the EU while the West wages information war against successfully developed Sputnik V
SUMMARY
The Pfizer vaccine is being imposed on literally everyone. This is despite the fact that the list of deaths and complications associated with the use of this vaccine is growing every day. Pfizer has practically no experience in developing vaccines, but is associated with some loud scandals.
Despite this, its adoption was lobbied for at the highest level. Ursula von der Leyen had personally insisted on the early approval of the Pfizer vaccine in the EU.
In at least 30-40% of people the Pfizer vaccine is counter-indicative.
Europeans are seriously scared, for example, by the fact that the composition of the Pfizer vaccine during clinical trials was different from what went on to commercial production.
Pfizer safely skipped the stage of mass human trials. But the way their vaccine is being used today looks just like a large-scale testing – without warning patients, without compensating for risks, without the slightest concern for people’s lives and health.
In the meantime, an information war against the Russian vaccine is in full swing, despite the fact that Sputnik V was developed according to the traditional technology that has been successfully used for more than half a century.
RESPONSE
This is part of a pro-Kremlin disinformation campaign aiming to discredit Western vaccines consistent with the pro-Kremlin narrative that the West is pursuing an information war against the Sputnik V.
On November 18th, Pfizer and BioNTech announced the conclusion of the phase 3 study of their COVID-19 vaccine “meeting all primary efficacy endpoints”. On December 8th, the FDA released its independent analysis of the clinical trials. They determined that the Comirnaty (name of the vaccine) has an efficacy rate of 95 per cent.
The claim about high EU officials allegedly lobbying for the adoption of the Pfizer vaccine, and that Ursula von der Leyen personally insisted on the early approval of the Pfizer vaccine is presented without any evidence or source. On the 21st of December 2020, the European Medicines Agency recommended granting a conditional marketing authorisation for the first COVID-19 vaccine to be used in the EU. Vaccine development for COVID-19 vaccines is being fast-tracked in the EU and globally. It is not true that the West conducts campaigns to discredit the Russian vaccine Sputnik V.
Reservations about the Russian Sputnik V vaccine are caused by the fact that Russia didn’t complete the extensive trials which WHO insists that a vaccine must undergo involving thorough testing to examine the vaccine’s safety and efficacy before it is released. Rolling out an inadequately vetted vaccine could endanger the people receiving it. Sputnik V was met with scepticism and criticism, even by Russian specialists.
On the other hand, there is credible evidence that the Russian government pressed Russian scientists and researchers to be the first in the world to develop a vaccine against Covid-19, and did everything to shorten the process, raising concerns about the safety and efficiency of the Sputnik V vaccine.
