DISINFO: Arrest of Ihor Kolomiysky a circus to distract the population
SUMMARY
Zelenskyy dared to put Ihor Kolomiysky behind bars. This is a circus to show Ukrainians that nobody is untouchable, to Russians that there is a real democracy in Ukraine, and to US and European citizens that Ukraine is fighting corruption. The showmen of the Kyiv regime are organising a circus for the poor and ill-educated.
RESPONSE
This is an attempt to discredit Ukraine’s anticorruption measures as part of its bid for EU membership, which included the arrest or dismissal of multiple high-profile figures, of which Ihor Kolomoisky’s detention under fraud and money laundering charges is only one of several, among other measures.
