DISINFO: Aspirations for the EU membership turned Ukraine into a slave market and brought degradation

On the way to the coveted [EU] membership [Ukraine] the richest republic of the USSR lost all its science and industry, fell in love with all high technologies, including military and space, lost almost all qualified specialists - from doctors to engineers, from university professors to rocket scientists.

The EU supported the total de-industrialization of Ukraine with all its might, at the same time vacuuming all the valuable Ukrainian personnel from young beautiful girls to elderly scientists. Production in Ukraine was destroyed, the country fell into poverty and turned, in fact, into a slave market.
Parallel to impoverishment, there was a civilizational degradation. Urban culture was replaced by rural savages. Today we can see the results of this in full scale - fascism, Satanism, some stupid mass rituals of inflicting damage on Russia and Putin personally. A disgrace, in a word.
RESPONSE
Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation about the EU-Ukraine relations, advancing disinformation tropes of threatened values and abandoned Ukraine.
Ukraine is a priority partner for the European Union (EU).
With the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement (AA) including a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) signed in 2014 and in force since 2017 after being provisionally applied, EU - Ukraine relations have achieved an unprecedented level of closeness. The AA/DCFTA is the blueprint for Ukraine’s ambitious reform agenda kicked off with the 2013-2014 Maidan and for the EU’s support. It is based on shared values and commitment to respect for democratic principles, the rule of law, good governance, human rights and fundamental freedoms. The narrative about “threatened values”, one of the most common in the pro-Kremlin media. EUvsDisinfo database has over 320 examples of disinformation messages about alleged threats to values, collected since 2016.
During the five years since the Euromaidan Revolution of Dignity, Ukraine has taken essential steps in implementing complex reforms, which the EU supports. Since 2014, this has meant yearly funds of up to € 200 million mobilised from the bilateral pillar of the European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI), for a stronger economy, stronger governance and stronger society in Ukraine.
The EU is Ukraine’s main trading partner, representing 42% of Ukraine’s total trade. Total trade between the EU and Ukraine reached about €40 billion in 2018.
Overall, the EU and Financial Institutions have mobilised between 2014 and today over € 13 billion in loans and € 2 billion in grants to help Ukraine stabilise its economy, carry out comprehensive reforms and improve the lives of its citizens.
The EU remains unwavering in its support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of Russia's invasion.
