DISINFO: Brussels ignores the sovereignty of its members to impose the US's agenda
SUMMARY
Europe remains keen to comply with the wishes of its mentor. Brussels keeps ignoring the national sovereignty of every state and imposing an agenda coming from abroad, from this alleged benefactor that ultimately abandons it, again and again. This is the reality, for example, about Russia and Ukraine. The Ukrainian conflict was fabricated and sponsored from Washington but has remained on European soil, with Europe forced to take decisions today against its own interests.

In this case, this narrative is used to falsely portray the war in Ukraine as a result of US actions instead of Russia’s invasion, therefore exonerating Russia of any responsibility for this aggression. By claiming the war is in the interest of the US and appealing to ‘national sovereignty’ in Europe, this disinformation story also aims to create divisions among transatlantic allies, especially regarding international aid for Ukraine, and to discredit the EU by baselessly portraying its leaders as more sensitive to US requirements than to those of their citizens.
