Cash is legal tender in all Scandinavian countries, in EU-member stats Sweden, Finland and Denmark as well as in Norway and Iceland. Åland, Faroe Islands and Greenland are territories with various levels of autonomy. Greenland uses the Danish krona as currency, Åland - the Euro, while the Faroe islands use the Faroese krona, tied to the Danish krona at a rate 1:1.
