DISINFO: European countries and the US support terrorist groups in Syria
SUMMARY
European countries, since the beginning of the war on Syria, have been supporting and directing the arrival of terrorist groups towards Syrian territory. We witnessed, during the beginning of the war, that all American and European officials memorised even the names of the neighborhoods of Syrian cities, and they were always crying and wailing over these neighborhoods, but in fact they feared for the fate of the terrorists whom they brought into Syria.

Recurrent pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about the West’s alleged support for terrorism in Syria. The claim was neither counterbalanced nor critically challenged in the article.
The EU has never supported terrorism in Syria. In fact, many of its members such as France and Germany have been actively fighting terrorism on Syrian territory. Pro-Kremlin media frequently label all opposition against President Bashar Al Assad as “terrorist”, as a means of denying it any legitimacy.
Similarly, ever since the September 11 terrorist attacks, the US and its allies have been engaged in military and intelligence efforts to counter ISIS and other radical Islamist terrorist groups in Syria around the world.
