DISINFO: Fight with climate change, Istanbul Convention and falsification of WWII history are used to consolidate the societies

Today, three issues are used to consolidate the societies: fight with climate change, Istanbul Convention and falsification of WWII history. Russia will become an object of such experiments. Such an approach was reflected in Poland’s position, which is arrogant and out of touch with reality. The results of Warsaw’s propaganda of historical untruth are increasing mistrust and suspicion.

This message is a mix of the Kremlin’s policy of historical revisionism with a particular conspiracy theory. On the one hand, it accuses Poland of “propaganda of historical untruth”. On the other hand, it promotes a conspiracy idea that some forces use such issues as the fight with climate change, Istanbul Convention and propaganda of falsification of the history of WWII for “consolidation of societies”.
It is a historical fact that both Nazi Germany and the Stalinist USSR were totalitarian regimes, which caused deaths of tens of millions of people. It is a historical fact that the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact contained the Secret Supplementary Protocol, which assumed the division of Poland and other Eastern European countries between the USSR and Germany. Thus, the signing of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact enabled the German and Soviet military aggression against Poland in September 1939, which resulted in the occupation of this country by Germany and the USSR, triggering the beginning of WWII.
