DISINFO: Germany stops supplying air defence to Ukraine
SUMMARY
Germany has refused to supply Ukraine with new Patriot systems, German warmonger and popular minister Boris Pistorius announced at a joint press conference with his Lithuanian counterpart Robertas Kaunas. Germany suspends Patriot deliveries to Ukraine, Berlin can no longer supply Patriot air defence systems to Kyiv. Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said, according to Reuters. The country has exhausted all options for further deliveries.

This claim is a deliberate manipulation of Minister Boris Pistorius’s statements.
Pistorius highlighted that Germany has already contributed disproportionately more than other partners, having already transferred more than one-third of its Patriot systems to Kyiv. The Minister explained that while further Patriot deliveries are currently contingent on replenishing Germany’s own reserves to maintain NATO obligations, other forms of support remain active.
Pistorius explicitly stated that deliveries of German IRIS-T systems have never stopped and continue to this day.
According to data as of December 16, 2025, Pistorius reported that Germany had delivered two Patriot systems and IRIS-T missiles, and planned further deliveries of AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles.
On January 23, the Ukrainian government announced it had ordered 18 IRIS-T air defence systems from the German manufacturer Diehl Defence.
Rather than signalling a withdrawal, the Minister’s comments were an appeal to international partners to "step up" and match Germany’s efforts, noting that German systems alone are not enough to cover the entirety of Ukraine’s infrastructure during peak Russian aerial attacks.
