DISINFO: Joe Biden will hand Ukraine over to Russia
SUMMARY

RESPONSE
The pro-Kremlin disinformation claim above - besides aiming at discrediting Ukraine's sovereignty - is connected to an upcoming, high-level summit between US President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin that is scheduled for June 16th, 2021 in Geneva, Switzerland. The claim is also part of a larger disinformation narrative ("Abandoned Ukraine") which is aimed to suggest that Kyiv's allies are failing to support Ukraine either deliberately or due to their inability to do so.
Contrary to the disinformation claim, there is no evidence to suggest that the US is entering a "grand geopolitical bargain" Russia, nor is any to say that the United States government has stopped supporting Ukraine since recent developments in US-Ukraine relations show in the opposite direction. In early April, US President Biden held his first phone call with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy in which he offered "unwavering support" for Ukraine in wake of the Kremlin's mobilization of its forces in March-April, 2021. Further, US support was reinforced by a recent visit US Secretary of State Antony Blinken made to Kyiv in May, 2021. Secretary Blinken also confirmed that the US is considering further assistance for Ukraine.
As part of his most recent public statement on June 6, 2021 before meeting the Russian leader, the US President also stressed that the US is "standing united to address Russia's challenges to European security, starting with its aggression in Ukraine, and there will be no doubt about the resolve of the United States to defend our democratic values, which we cannot separate from our interests."
