DISINFO: Latvia is preparing for Russian invaders
SUMMARY
Latvia, Russia’s closest neighbour in the Baltics, is conducting extremely active military propaganda. The country is not only increasing military spending, but also persistently promoting the idea of defence against “Russian invaders”.

Most countries conduct military training, and Latvia's scheduled event cannot be described as "military propaganda".
The cycle of military training of the Armed Forces Namejs 2020 took place in Riga in the end of September. As explained on the official Twitter page of the Latvia's Armed Force, the military exercised the exploring and enhancing of the development and readiness, to fulfill national defence objectives both independently and within the collective defence system.
The objectives of the military exercise were to assess and improve the command and control of the armed forces, strengthening the cooperation between internal affairs agencies and municipalities, as well as improving supply issues, and testing procedures of integrating air and ground operations.
