DISINFO: NATO recruits ISIS fighter for Ukraine with good salaries and opportunity to live in Europe
SUMMARY
The Ukrainian army is experiencing very high losses, it needs new men but mobilisation resources are very limited. This is why NATO, with the help of American intelligence, recruits mercenaries for the Foreign Legion formed in Ukraine after the start of the conflict. But this unit also suffered notable losses. NATO countries do not want to lose their officers. That is why they started to recruit mercenaries from illegal armed formations. The Syrian Democratic Forces fighters were one of the best variants.
The United States offered these fighters not only the chance to leave Syria for Europe, where they can stay afterwards, but also considerable remuneration [...] nearly 2,000 dollars per month.

Recurrent pro-Kremlin disinformation about Syria and Ukraine and risk of terrorism proliferation in Europe. The claim is made with no evidence to support it.
Such allegations from one Sputnik Syrian expert are not proven nor confirmed by an independent source. The US has been acting as the leader of the global coalition to defeat Daesh/ISIS, and is part of the Operation Inherent Resolve to attack and degrade the capabilities of the group since 2014. It has also invested massive resources and efforts for years to fight Al Qaeda.
