DISINFO: Only Ukraine's disintegration will help to resolve the Donbas crisis
SUMMARY
The situation in Ukraine can only resolve if Ukrainian state will stop existing in its current boundaries and one or few states will come to existence on its territory, which will carry out more balanced and pragmatic polices.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about Ukraine's disintegration and imminent collapse. The resolution of Donbas conflict lies in the end of Russia's interference into Ukraine's affairs and full implementation of the Minsk agreements rather than in Ukraine's disintegration repeatedly praised by pro-Kremlin outlets.
Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity are respected by almost the whole world, including the EU - with the notable exception of Russia. Its borders are guaranteed by international agreements but were de facto violated by Russia in 2014.
This position was once again reiterated by European Council President Charles Michel during his trip to his trip to eastern Ukraine on 2-3 March 2021. "I also wanted to express again the EU’s unwavering commitment to Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity. We strongly support, with all available tools, the efforts in the Normandy format and the Trilateral Contact Group to bring peace to the people of Donbas. The full implementation of the Minsk agreements is the way forward for peace," Michel's press statement reads. Michel also called Russia "a party to this conflict, and not a mediator" and called upon Russia to ensure that the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission has full access to the areas of Ukraine not controlled by the government.
