The text of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU includes a separate section VI, entitled "Financial cooperation and provisions on the fight against fraud." Article 453 of the section says that "Ukraine receives financial assistance through the appropriate mechanisms and EU funding instruments. This financial assistance will help to achieve the objectives of this Agreement and will be provided in accordance with the following Articles of this Agreement."
