DISINFO: The Kyiv junta is inciting war in the Caucasus and Transnistria
SUMMARY
The Ukrainian authorities want to spark conflicts in the Caucasus and Transnistria. In Kyiv, they are still dreaming of opening, as they say, a “second front” against Russia. Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov, following Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who recently called on Georgia to begin similar military operations, addressed the same call to the authorities of Moldova. The Kyiv junta is inciting war in the Caucasus and Transnistria.

Pro-Kremlin media are manipulating an excerpt from the address of the President of Ukraine to the leaders of 10 member countries of the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF). During his speech on October 13 2023 at the JEF summit, Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the importance of regional cooperation formats between countries.
The Ukrainian President noted that Ukraine is working to create new formats of interaction and strengthen existing alliances in the Black Sea region. Zelenskyy believes that the general security of the countries of the Black Sea region, which is being actively destabilised by Russia, will become one of the keys “to the geopolitical stability of all of Europe.”
In this context, the President noted that Ukraine's struggle and its future victory in the Russian war will open up new prospects for collective security in the Black Sea. In this context, Zelenskyy recalled parts of Georgian territory occupied by Russia in 2008. According to the President of Ukraine, Russia's defeat in the current war will help Georgia restore its territorial integrity.
“New security perspectives will also emerge due to changes in the South Caucasus region neighbouring the Black Sea. This will add potential to our joint security here, in our part of Europe. Especially when, thanks to our defence from Russian aggression, new prospects will open for Georgia – to restore its territorial integrity,” Zelenskyy said.
Thus, Zelenskyy did not call on Georgia to start a war. On the contrary, the Ukrainian President noted that the security of the region depends on Ukraine’s success in countering Russian aggression. Read here for the full debunk.
As for the claim about Alexey Danilov, he did not call on Moldova to open a second front against Russia. Rather, he stated that this should be a decision of that country:
"If Georgians and Moldova began to liberate their territories from Russian occupiers, we would then resolve this issue much faster. But this is the decision of their governments, this is the decision of these countries. They believe that with our help, that is, when we defeat the Russians, they will very quickly liberate their territories."
