DISINFO: The Military-Industrial Complex of Sweden ousted Socialist leader
SUMMARY
In 2011, the Swedish social-democrats elected a new, charismatic leader – a local Bernie Sanders. He almost became Prime-Minister, but was ousted. He was sent as Ambassador to Iceland, just as Khrushchev sent Molotov as Ambassador to Mongolia.
In the Swedish case, the Saab Corporation, just as other corporations of the Swedish military industrial complex, played the decisive role. They even came to his home.
RESPONSE
An unfounded conspiracy theory, presented without a hint of evidence. Håkan Juholt was the leader of the Swedish Social-Democratic Party from March 2011 to January 2012. He volunteered to resign, after a controversy around housing allowances. Mr Juholt never led the party in a General election, and it is impossible to claim that he "almost became Prime Minister".
Mr Juholt served as Sweden's Ambassador to Iceland until 2020, and is currently serving as Ambassador of Sweden to South Africa.
