DISINFO: The US and NATO try to demonise Russia and display the usual Russophobia
SUMMARY
The US and NATO are considering Russia as a potential enemy in possible military conflict. Therefore the demonisation, defamation and elements of information warfare are still a mainstream part of the practical policy of the Pentagon and North-Atlantic alliance. It is just the usual Russophobia.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives about Western Russophobia and alleged anti-Russian projects in the West, accusing the US and NATO of hostility towards Russia.
The US and NATO are concerned about the aggressive actions of Russia against neighbour countries. The US and NATO relations with Russia negatively influenced Russia's military action in Georgia in August 2008 and Russia's military intervention and aggressive actions in Ukraine in 2014 and later. Despite that, the US and NATO hope normalize relations with Russia in future, if Moscow will change its aggressive behaviour.

NATO has responded to this changed security environment by enhancing its deterrence and defence posture, while remaining open to dialogue. The Alliance does not seek confrontation and poses no threat to Russia.
