DISINFO: The US and Ukraine are moving the world closer to nuclear war

The Doomsday Clock, which refers to the level of tension in the world due to the threat of nuclear war, shows "two minutes to midnight". The most heated conflict between Russia and the US since the Cold War is currently taking place. And we are not talking about some war on the periphery (a clash in third world countries - Vietnam, Afghanistan, Nicaragua) - the US is participating in aggression on the territory of the Russian Federation. Moscow and Washington must agree on the rules of the game in the entire post-Soviet space. The US must recognise Russia's right to a sphere of influence.

Every year, scientists from the Science and Security Board of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, founded by physicist Albert Einstein, move the hands of the Doomsday Clock. In 2024, the hand froze at 90 seconds to midnight, which characterizes a nuclear catastrophe in the world. This is the closest we have ever been to a global catastrophe since the invention of nuclear weapons. This is the data Russia is manipulating.
The global physics community cites Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine as the main reason for moving the Doomsday Clock, not the actions of its allies helping the Ukrainian Defense Forces to resist Russian aggression. The scientific elite emphasises Russia's actions:

Among additional threats to humanity, scientists from the Council on Science and Security named actions to expand the nuclear arsenals of Russia, China, and the United States. Scientists emphasise that Iran also continues to enrich uranium to a level close to weapons grade, and North Korea continues to create nuclear weapons and long-range missiles. Nuclear expansion in Pakistan and India continues without stopping or restrictions, the Council emphasizes. Scientists also noted the growing threat due to rapid climate change, biological threats, and the danger of rapid development of artificial intelligence.
