This message is part of a broader pro-Kremlin conspiracy theory alleging that the United States, Israel and other Western states have created and supported many terrorist organisations and control global terrorism. “Zionism” is in this context used as a code word for an Anti-Semitic trope. Anti-Semitism is occasionally employed by parts of the pro-Kremlin ecosystem.
There is no evidence that the US or Israel have supported terrorist organisations or promoted terrorist activities. Fighting terrorism has been a primary concern for Israel since its foundation. After September 11th, the battle against terrorism assumed a similar strategic priority for the United States. Ever since the September 11 terrorist attacks, the US and its European allies have been engaged in an enormous military and intelligence efforts to counter Al Qaeda, ISIS and other radical Islamist terrorist groups around the world.
