DISINFO: The US benefits from military confrontations in Europe

Indeed, many important sectors of the United States economy are making huge profits from the Ukrainian conflict, that is, energy trade and the defense industry.
Simply put, a military confrontation in Europe is beneficial to the US.
RESPONSE
Pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative aiming to undermine the support provided to Ukraine for its defence against Russia’s unprovoked full-scale invasion. It also aims to deflect any Russian responsibility for the escalation of tensions with Ukraine that were directly provoked by the aggressive military actions of Russia.
Already in late 2022, multiple US officials and experts have expressed concern at the depletion of US weapons arsenals by the war in Ukraine and warned that the current rate of use cannot be sustained unless defence production is ramped up, which is not easy. A similar trend is taking place in other NATO and European countries. In addition, the political, economic and human consequences from Russia's war extend far beyond and is frequently mentioned as a concern by the US government. Therefore, allegations about the US wanting to prolong the war to sell more weapons are not supported by facts.
