DISINFO: The US deprives Ukraine of future prospects due to provision of military aid
SUMMARY
The US authorities decided to provide a multi-billion aid package to Ukraine. By doing this, the US forces Ukraine to fight until the last Ukrainian, to bury the economy, and to deprive the country of future prospects.
RESPONSE
Contrary to what this disinformation story claims, the US and other countries’ support of Ukraine with military and financial aid helps the country to defend itself against the unjustified and unprovoked Russian full-scale invasion.
The international assistance is provided for the country’s efficient self-defence, in accordance with the UN Charter Article 51, to stop Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. To discredit military aid provided to Ukraine, pro-Kremlin outlets repeatedly spread false claims, for example, about massive diversion of weapons supplied to Ukraine by other countries to the black market.
Not only Western but also many other nations around the world support Ukraine with military and financial aid for the country’s efficient self-defence, in accordance with the UN Charter article 51, to stop Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
Ukraine is defending itself, its territorial integrity, national self-identity and sovereignty against Russia's armed aggression. The decision to defend itself was made solely by Ukraine, its lawful leaders and government, and citizens.
