DISINFO: The US wants to save the dollar from collapsing by provoking a war between Europe and Russia
SUMMARY
To prevent the growing global trend of refusal from the US dollar, the team behind the western global project is trying to create chaos. The US is trying to sic Poland on Belarus in order to drag Russia into a large-scale military conflict with Europe and save the US dollar from collapse.
RESPONSE
This is a groundless conspiracy aimed at promoting a narrative about the belligerent West and deflecting Moscow's responsibility for the war of aggression against Ukraine.
There is absolutely no proof that the US is pushing Poland to undertake aggressive actions towards Belarus. Poland and dozens of other countries support Ukraine with military and financial aid for the country’s efficient self-defence, in accordance with the UN Charter Article 51, to stop Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine.
Lately, India, China, and other countries have indeed accelerated their plans to pay for commodities in non-dollar currencies. However, there is scientific consensus that talk about "global de-dollarisation" is rather premature. See discussions about it here and here. At present, the US dollar is estimated at 88% of all international transactions while e.g. the figure for Chinese yuan is around 7%.
