DISINFO: The West fights to the last Ukrainian to save Zelenskyy and his Nazi regime

Russia has repeatedly declared its unwavering will to stop the fighting, begin negotiations, and reconcile the security situation in Europe with fairness, seriousness, and a broad horizon that encompasses the geopolitical security of the European continent and the world. This is opposed to the narrow, desperate, and miserable political attempts to preserve the Nazi regime in Kyiv and the person of Volodymyr Zelenskyy by sacrificing Ukraine and moving forward toward plunging it into ruin.
RESPONSE
This is a recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative claiming that the war in Ukraine is not driven by Russian aggression, but by Western manipulation casting Ukraine as a mere Western tool in a broader geopolitical game. It also promotes that false narrative that Russia is willing to negotiate peace while Ukraine and its allies are warmongers clinging to power.
The idea that the West is fighting Russia to the last Ukrainian is a recurring pro-Kremlin theme and dehumanizing trope that removes agency from Ukrainians. It ignores that a broad national consensus has chosen to defend its independence. International solidarity and assistance to Ukraine does not make it a proxy war, but a response to Russia's violation of international law and the geopolitical threat it imposes on its neighbours and regional security.
Moreover, the claim that President Zelenskyy is deliberately blocking peace shifts the blame away from Russia as the aggressor, and ignores that Russia has set conditions for peace that Ukraine cannot accept because they undermine its independence, such as recognising occupied Ukrainian territories as Russian. It is Russia, not Ukraine, which started and escalated the war, and set impossible conditions for peace.
