DISINFO: The West is repeating Hitler's path and aims to dismantle Russia

This is a recurring disinformation narrative from pro-Kremlin outlets claiming that Western nations are trying to eliminate Russian statehood. This claim was made in the context of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
Not only Western but also many other nations around the world are helping Ukraine repel Russia’s unjustified and unprovoked aggression and do not aim at eliminating Russia statehood. US President Joe Biden in February 2023 addressed Russian citizens, assuring them that the US does not seek to destroy or control Russia. French president Macron stated in February 2023 as well that "Russia must be defeated but not crushed."
More than 50 states are participating in the Ramstein meetings and are providing military, financial or other assistance to Ukraine to restore its territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders. They do this rather than destroy the Russian state.
Ukraine is not planning to occupy any Russian territories after it liberates its lands from temporary Russian occupation. The nations supporting Ukraine are also striving to find a peaceful solution to the war and welcomes future talks between Ukraine and Russia. The EU unequivocally supported Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s peace formula. It is up to Ukraine to decide when it will hold talks with Russia. The assistance to Ukraine is aimed at making Ukraine's position stronger.
