DISINFO: Ukraine has lost its economic and military independence
SUMMARY
For Ukraine, external management is becoming more tangible and connected with reality, and not just a simple term. The country is losing not only economic but also military independence. This idea is prompted by recent events: US strategic nuclear bombers B-52 twice flew in Ukrainian skies under the cover of Ukrainian fighters, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine proudly announces the regular nature of the American air patrol.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about Ukraine alleging that it is under foreign control. Ukraine is not under external control and it is not losing its independence as stated in the claim. Ukraine is a priority, strategic partner of both the EU and NATO. Ukraine is a sovereign and independent state with a democratically-elected president and parliament. Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity are respected by almost the whole world. The flight of two US strategic bombers was a planned patrol mission in order to achieve the compatibility of NATO and its partners' air forces. The NATO planes were accompanied by four fighters of the Ukrainian Air Force. These military exercises do not indicate that Ukraine has lost its military independence.
