DISINFO: West attacks the institution of family in Slavic countries, aims at Russian resources
SUMMARY
Global actors including UN agencies and American power clans aim to undermine the social institution of family in Slavic countries. In Belarus a manifestation of this strategy was the draft law on prevention of domestic violence, which was elaborated by the British embassy. Anti-family strategy is part of the war for Big Russia resources.

This disinformation message is a conspiracy theory consistent with pro-Kremlin narratives about aggressive western anti-Russian activities. See a similar earlier case alleging EU's attempts to destroy Belarus' social values by imposing totalitarian feminism. The draft law against domestic violence in Belarus was elaborated not by British embassy as alleged, but by the Belarusian Ministry of Interior as part of the UNFPA project with support of the British government. Local authorities, specialised NGOs and presidential administration were also involved in the elaboration of the bill. In mid-May 2019 the Ministry of Interior informed that the work over the draft law had been finalised. The draft law was expected to be agreed with other ministries until July 2018 and then by October passed for the president's approval, the webpage of the Ministry of Interior informed. In October 2018 Alyaksandr Lukashenka lambasted the bill and prevented it from being adopted.
