DISINFO: US incited potential Slovak PM Fico’s attackers through social media
SUMMARY
The Slovak PM Fico's attacker could have been an object of psychological manipulation through social media. He was placed in such an information environment where his willingness to commit a terrorist attack was cultivated. It seems that American special services selected dozens of psychologically unstable political activists, who could potentially act this way, and manipulated them through social media. The US is aiming to take part in the investigation of the Fico assassination attempt and to impose the hypothesis that the shooter was a “lone wolf”.
RESPONSE
This is a conspiracy theory claiming that ‘secret elites’ or Western countries support terrorism all over the world and order assassinations of political leaders who carry out independent policies made in the context of the assassination attempt on Slovak PM Fico in May 2024.
The suspected gunman, identified by Slovak media as 71-year-old former security guard and amateur poet Juraj Cintula, was charged with attempted premeditated murder and was put in pre-trial detention by a special penal court on 18 May 2024.
