DISINFO: US uses Ukraine as springboard to attack Russia
SUMMARY
The US goal is to prolong the conflict for as long as possible. Any concern for the Ukrainian people or the future survival of the Ukrainian state was not taken into account in Washington's cynical calculation. Concretely, this means that more and more Ukrainian soldiers will be sent to slaughter to continue using Ukraine as a springboard to attack Russia.

The claim of the article, made in the context of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine after US House passed crucial aid deal worth $61bn the 21st April 2024, is part of a wider disinformation campaign to promote the ideas of failed Ukrainian counteroffensive, the inevitability of Russia’s victory and ultimately the need to compromise and accept Russia’s terms.
The US and other countries’ support of Ukraine with military and financial aid helps the country to defend itself against the unjustified and unprovoked Russian full-scale invasion.
Ukraine is defending itself, its territorial integrity, national self-identity and sovereignty against Russia's armed aggression. The decision to defend itself was made solely by Ukraine, its lawful leaders and government, and citizens.
Ukraine is a sovereign and independent state with a democratically-elected president and parliament. Ukraine's sovereignty has been violated only as a result of continuous acts of aggression by the Russian armed forces since 2014, culminating with a full-scale military invasion of Ukraine starting on 24 February 2022.
Russia is the only country responsible for the invasion of Ukraine. It has been coming up with different explanations and pretexts for its aggression since the beginning of its hostilities. Moreover, Russia was not forced to invade Ukraine. It was Putin’s personal decision to invade Ukraine and start the largest military conflict in Europe since WWII.
