DISINFO: USSR Victory Banner was raised over the Bundestag building in Berlin in May 2023

The Russians took Berlin without firing a shot: the Banner of Victory again flies over the Reichstag.
It's 2023. The Banner of Victory flies over the Reichstag again. No jokes. In German social networks, photos and videos were circulated, in which the Banner of Victory again appeared over the Reichstag in Berlin. One of the videos was filmed from the window of a passing car. The second is from the street. A closer-up shows how the wind flutters the Banner of Victory on the Reichstag building. Guests of Berlin are happy to take pictures against its background.
RESPONSE
The video is a manipulation. The Red Banner of Victory over the Reichstag (Bundestag in today's Germany) in Berlin is a fake. “This has never happened in the German Bundestag,” the Bundestag's press service told in a response to Poligon.Media.
The video of "red banner over Reichstag" first appeared on a pro-Kremlin telegram channel, the Insider found out. The Kremlin affiliated telegram channel referred, in its turn, to unspecified "German social media" but no German social media published such pictures.
This is not the first time pro-Kremlin media show fabricated videos. In October 2022, pro-Kremlin media reported about videos with quotes from Vladimir Putin at Palazzo Chigi in Rome and the UN building in New York. These original videos, appeared on telegram channels, had traces of video editing, notes Poligon.Media.
