DISINFO: Vilnius and Warsaw planned to create a new Polish empire on the ashes of Belarus
SUMMARY
Belarus is facing unprecedented pressure from the West, the US, NATO and the EU. It started after an unsuccessful attempt to make a colour revolution in the country during summer 2020. The point of the coup was not only to destroy Lukashenko but also to take away the sovereignty of Belarus and turn the state into the source of the cheap workforce for the West (what has already happened in Ukraine).
Behind the attempt of the colour revolution was the tandem of Vilnius and Warsaw led by Washington. The point was to create Rzeczpospolita-2 on the ashes of Belarus: it would be a new Russophobic and pro-American Polish empire, a buffer zone in East Europe.

Recurring disinformation about events in Belarus, blaming the West for the alleged colour revolution in this country.
The protests in Belarus erupted to contest the results of the presidential election on the 9th of August 2020, which were not monitored by independent experts, and are largely considered fraudulent by both international observers and a big part of the Belarusian society. On 19 August 2020, the European Council called Belarusian elections neither free nor fair.
The so-called "New Rzeczpospolita" project is a conspiracy theory that fits into the recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about Polish imperial policies and aggressive plans towards Belarus. There is no evidence that Poland, Lithuania or any other Western governments have been involved in organising and funding the protests in Belarus, nor that they are conducting any activities aimed at destabilising Belarus.
