Visa liberalization with Ukraine will inevitably lead to a massive influx of Ukrainians to the EU.
The article does not mention that visa will not be required only for short stays (for up to 90 days). It is also overlooks the fact that the EU can restore visa requirements should it deem it necessary to do so.
