In reality, Western nations, including NATO member states, are sending military aid to Ukraine to only help it against Russian aggression. Relations between NATO and Ukraine date back to the early 1990s and have since developed into one of the most substantial of NATO’s partnerships. Since 2014, in the wake of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, cooperation has been intensified in critical areas. There have been no NATO troops in Donbas since that time. Military instructors from NATO sometimes visit Ukraine to train its personnel. This is open information and neither Ukraine nor NATO make a secret out of it. NATO troops are not engaging in fighting.

Russian troops have killed over 1,000 civilians in the Kyiv Region. More than 420 bodies of civilians were found in Bucha alone where a horrible massacre happened. NATO has nothing to do with these war crimes. These atrocities were committed by Russian troops, which was confirmed by the BBC,Bellingcat,The Atlantic Council,Mediazona,the Insider,Sky News, the New York Times and others. The European Union has condemned in the strongest possible terms the reported atrocities committed by the Russian armed forces. The EU called for accountability for human rights and international law violations by the Russian Armed Forces, including full support for the investigation launched by the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.
