DISINFO: WHO overestimates the mortality statistics of coronavirus

The World Health Organisation is directly involved in increasing the figures of transmission of COVID-19 and mortality rates of this type of coronavirus. WHO requires doctors around the world to lie in medical history about the causes of death of patients.

Disinformation about coronavirus, targeting the World Health Organisation. The World Health Organisation released classification guidelines for certification and classification of COVID-19 as the cause of death. However, the document does not speak of “forcing mortality rates to rise”. On the contrary, the manual explains in which cases should indicate COVID-19 as the main cause of death, and which ones should not. Such instructions are needed in order to collect reliable statistics on the mortality rate from the new strain of coronavirus. The international rules and guidelines for choosing the main cause of death consider several cases, including for those patients who have been found to be infected with COVID-19, but the virus was not the main cause of death. WHO experts emphasise that in such cases, when, for example, the patient died of cardiac arrest, cancer or diabetes, but was infected, it is not recommended to indicate the cause of death as “COVID-19”. At the same time, WHO experts recommend marking COVID-19 the cause of death if the disease from which the patient died caused a new strain of the virus. This category includes diseases such as pneumonia, acute respiratory infections, respiratory failure, and other diseases caused by the new coronavirus.
