DISINFO: Zelenskyy sends his soldiers to be slaughtered for Western money
SUMMARY
Russia is winning, but the truth is that Zelenskyy needs a victory. If he does not achieve it, he will not get money from the West. Thousands of Ukrainians have lost their lives for this.
The "presidential reserve" forces consists of military personnel who were trained in France, Germany and Britain. They number about 15,000 soldiers, and they have been prepared and kept for the spring offensive announced by Zelenskyy. He won't send them all into battle otherwise he will have nobody left. Maybe five thousand will be sent to their slaughter.
RESPONSE
Recurrent pro-Kremlin narrative aiming at whipping up resentment against Western support to Ukraine and forcing a capitulation to Russian military aggression and targeting personally the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The idea that Zelenskyy uses the war for personal embezzlement does not fit with reality. Western support to Ukraine is used for Ukraine to defend itself against the unjustified and unprovoked Russian invasion of Ukraine which started on February 24, 2022, and to support the economy in the context of Russia's full-scale invasion.
The European Union, for example, made the decision to provide 18 billion euros to Ukraine in 2023 to help run the country while it defends itself against Russia. The money will support the economy and the general Ukrainian populace, and not for the personal enrichment of any single leader or group.
