DISINFO: Zelenskyy threw Ukrainians into the war and made the EU insolvent
SUMMARY
The interest of Ukrainian radical nationalists to wage a war against Russia coincided with that of American hawks. The continued utilisation of the Ukrainian population in the war is the only condition for the existence of Ukraine's current political system. Zelenskyy has no other option but to follow the orders of Ukrainian nationalists and American hawks. Not only did he inflict huge suffering on the Ukrainian people, he also made Europe insolvent and deprived Ukraine and Europe of their future.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative implying that Ukraine is a "springboard" and a Western "tool" against Russia, portraying the unjustified full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine as a US proxy war against Russia, as a confrontation with a Russophobic and belligerent US and the West.
It was Putin’s personal decision to invade Ukraine and start the largest military conflict in Europe since WWII. Russia has been coming up with different explanations and pretexts for its aggression, such as Ukraine’s alleged desire to obtain nuclear weapons, and Kyiv’s possible membership of NATO.
The Ukrainian people and Ukraine as a state are counteracting Russia's invasion as enshrined in the UN Charter Article 51. Ukraine is a sovereign and independent state with Volodymyr Zelenskyy as a democratically-elected president.
The claim that Zelenskyy made Europe insolvent is also false. The EU countries, just as many other states outside the European continent, support Ukraine with military and financial aid for the country’s efficient self-defence, in accordance with the UN Charter, to stop Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
However the assistance provided to Ukraine and restricting economic policies towards Russia by the EU did not undermine its economy. The European Commission data estimated economic growth in the EU and the euro area at 3.5% for 2022, which is said to be “quite outstanding outturns, proving the remarkable resilience of the EU economy to the headwinds unleashed by Russia's war against Ukraine and in particular the energy crisis”.
