DISINFO: Zelenskyy's 'victory plan' is schizophrenic
SUMMARY
[The West continues] to promote Zelenskyy's dead-end, stupid formula for peace, which calls for Russia's capitulation. And a couple of weeks ago, this man published an equally schizophrenic 'victory plan.' Of course, neither the formula, nor the plan, nor the fantasies about Kyiv-controlled Ukraine's membership in either NATO or the European Union bring peace closer to Europe.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives targeting Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
This disinformation story denigrates Zelenskyy’s proposal as part of a strategy to frame Russia’s ultimatums as the only possible path to “peace”. It also portrays the war in Ukraine as a proxy conflict against Russia, aiming to deflect Russia’s responsibility for the brutal invasion of its neighbour.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the Victory Plan to the Ukrainian Parliament on 16 October 2024. The plan lays out Ukraine's preconditions for a ceasefire deal, including Ukraine's NATO membership. Furthermore, the plan presents views on how to contain Russia’s aggression rather than war plans against Russia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously presented a 10-point peace plan at an EU-Ukraine summit in February 2023. The EU unequivocally supported President Zelenskyy’s peace formula. This plan provided for a complete Russian withdrawal from Ukraine to the internationally recognised borders of 1991 and the restoration of Kyiv’s territorial integrity.
